These days our parish celebrated the protector of the church, the Great Holy Martyr Gheorghe consecrated every April 23rd. This year, 2017, the calendar

enrolled this Sunday, when the entire Orthodox Christianity also commemorates St. Apostle Thomas. The Blessed Festivity began on the eve with the Vespers'

service, attended by most priests of Tg. Ocna, accompanied by believers. The sermon of the day was supported by Father Bogdan Pistea, from the Oituz

Parish, and mainly focused on the iconographic representation of St. George the Bearer of Being. The next day, on April 23, the joy of the enorias was

increased with the presence of the protopop of Onesti, Pr. Ioan Bargaoanu, who also uttered the word of learning of the day. At the same time, the honorary

diploma was given by priest Nichita Danut, to all local authorities, who permanently support the inhabitants of Tisesti district in their religious and

administrative activities. The events were crowned by an agape offered to guests everywhere.
